Fans on Cloud 9 as Sanju Samson Named POTM in India vs Zimbabwe 2nd ODI

Sanju Samson and bowlers stand out as we look at the fans’ reactions after India register another dominating ODI series vs Zimbabwe. 

Team India continue marching forward as they register another dominating ODI series win vs Zimbabwe; their 8th against Zimbabwe. After winning the first ODI by 10 wickets, India clinch the ODI series vs Zimbabwe with a 5-wicket win in the 2nd ODI.

Bowling first, Shardul Thakur and other Indian bowlers restricted Zimbabwe to just 161 runs in the 2nd ODI. Shardul was the pick of the bowlers with a spell of 3/38. Apart from him, all the other bowlers took a wicket each. Sean Williams top scored for Zimbabwe with his knock of 42 off 42 balls.

Chasing 162, India opened with KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan with KL Rahul in need of more game time. However, India lost KL Rahul early in the 2nd over itself with his score reading 1(5). With India at 97/4 after 13.6 overs, Sanju Samson led the chase for Team India with an unbeaten 43 off 39 balls. Finally, India won the match in 26th over with 5 wickets remaining.
