The Board of Control for Cricket in India on Wednesday, November 23rd officially announced the squad for the 4-day series vs Bangladesh A. India A are going to play two 4-day matches vs Bangladesh ahead of the official 2-match Test series.
Team India have named a total of two squads for two separate matches. While 13 players have been named in the 1st 4-day match, 16 players have been named in the 2nd 4-day match vs Bangladesh A.
The squad sees a few new players who have been selected for the first time to represent India A. The likes of Rohan Kunnummal, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Yash Dhull, and Atith Sheth would be presenting India A for the first time, if selected.
So, here’s the official squad for India A team for the 2022 4-day series vs Bangladesh A.
Official Squad for 1st 4-day Match
Batters: Abhimanyu Easwaran, Rohan Kunnummal, Sarfaraz Khan, Yashasvi Jaiswal & Yash Dhull
Wks: Upendra Yadav
All-rounders: Atit Sheth, Jayant Yadav, Saurabh Kumar & Tilak Varma
Bowlers: Rahul Chahar, Mukesh Kumar & Navdeep Saini

For the 2nd 4-day match, India have added 3 more members from the official squad that is going to play the Test series vs Bangladesh. Known for playing only the Test format, India have added Cheteshwar Pujara, Umesh Yadav, and KS Bharat to the squad. The rest of the squad remains as is. So, here’s the squad list for Team India for the 2nd 4-day match vs Bangladesh.

In terms of schedule, India A would be playing two 4-day matches. The first match shall feature from November 29 to December 2, 2022. Whereas the second match shall feature from December 6 to December 9, 2022.

- 1st Match – Nov 29 – Dec 2 @ SKICS 2, Cox’s Bazaar
- 2nd Match – Dec 6-9 @ SICS, Sylhet
From the playing 11 point of view for 1st match, we should see Abhimanyu Easwaran and Yashasvi Jaiswal open the innings. Yash Dhull shall play at 3, Sarfaraz Khan at 4, Tilak Varma at 5, and wicket-keeper Upendra Yadav at 7. For the bowling, Saurabh Kumat at 8, Rahul Chahar at 9, Mukesh Kumar at 10, and Navdeep Saini at 11.
