KL Rahul Issues Big Statement on his Absence from the Indian Team

India Cricket Team star batter, KL Rahul has issued a big statement on his absence from the team.

KL Rahul, who was supposed to make a comeback from the West Indies tour, but couldn’t has issued a big statement on his absence from the Indian team. As per his post from the official Twitter handle, he mentions he had a big surgery in June, which was successful.

He was supposed to make a comeback from the West Indies tour, but just as he gained full fitness, he contracted COVID-19. Because of which he couldn’t be a part of the T20 series.

Twitter Statement:

These are his exact words as he reported on Twitter.

“Hey Guys,

I wanted to clarify a couple of things about my health and fitness.

My surgery in June was successful, and i had begun training with the hope of returning to national duty for the teams tour of the West Indies.

Unfortunately, as i was nearing a return to full fitness, i tested positive for COVID-19.

This naturally pushes things back by a couple of weeks, but i am to recover as quickly as possible, and be available for selection as soon as i can.

To represent the national team is the highest honour, and i cannot wait to get out there back in blue.

See you soon,
KLR”

We trust your words KL Rahul. Stay Strong, and wish you all the very best to recover soon. We need you for the all-important Asia Cup 2022. The Asia Cup 2022 begins from August 27, and by then KL Rahul is expected to gain full fitness.
