Another series, and another whitewash for India as they win the Zimbabwe ODI series 3-0. After winning the first two ODIs convincingly, the third ODI was the toughest of the lot for the Indian team as they won by a meagre margin of 13 runs.
Having chosen to bat first, the duo of KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan got off to a slow start as they could only manage 63 in 15 overs before KL Rahul got out for 30 off 46 balls. Shubman Gill with his maiden International ton of 130 off 97 and Ishan Kishan with 50 off 61 helped India reach a good target of 289/8 in 50 overs.
On a tough wicket, the score may look defendable, but Sikandar Raza played the knock of his life as he almost pulled off the run chase. At one stage Zimbabwe were 169/7. From there, Sikandar Raza with 115 off 95 balls took Zimbabwe to 276/10. Team India won the match by 13 runs as Avesh Khan took 3 wickets and Axar Patel took 2 wickets.
