Record Alert: Hardik Pandya, 1st Indian to Hold this T20I Stat

Team India’s all-rounder Hardik Pandya takes 50 T20I wickets as we look at the unique record held by him in T20Is.

All-rounder Hardik Pandya has achieved a unique feat in T20Is; unable to achieve by an Indian all-rounder till date. After taking his 50th T20I wicket in the form of Brandon King, he became the first Indian All-rounder to have 50+ wickets and 750+ runs in T20Is.  Hardik, who had debuted for Team India in 2016 has already played 66 T20I matches; second-most among all Indian bowlers. Since then he has been an integral all-rounder for Team India in limited-overs cricket. He currently has 802 runs and 50 wickets to his name.

Hardik is undoubtedly India’s best all-rounder in T20Is. His presence is very important for India to win the Asia Cup 2022 and T20 World Cup 2022. To recall, he recently captained an IPL team for the first time, and he led Gujarat Titans to their maiden IPL title. He is also looked at as a potential Captain once Rohit Sharma hands it over.

Hardik Pandya’s Stats in T20Is as of August 29, 2022:
