Courtesy of his and Hemang Badani’s 77(99), India scored 301/6; their fifth-highest total in ODIs vs Zimbabwe. India were good in the bowling too as Zimbabwe were bundled out for 262 runs.   

#4: 301/3 @ Cuttack 1998

The match that saw Mohammed Azharuddin score his highest individual score in ODIs. Azhar with his stunning unbeaten 153 off 150 balls helped India score 301/3; their fourth-highest team total in ODIs vs Zimbabwe. India were equally good in the bowling as Zimbabwe were bundled out for 269 runs. 

#3: 306/5 @ Ahmedabad 2000

Another one of the period from 1998-2002 as India register their third-highest total in ODIs vs Zimbabwe. It was Sourav Ganguly, who scored a superb 144 off 152 balls that helped India score 306/5 in 50 overs. Sridharan Sriram led the bowling with a spell of 3/47 as Zimbabwe could only manage 245/8. 

#2: 319/6 @ Mohali 2002

Mohali 2022 vs Zimbabwe shall be remembered for the trio of fifties scored by Sourav Ganguly, VVS Laxman, and Rahul Dravid. The trio scored 86(83), 52(72), and 66(59) respectively to help India register 319/6 in 50 overs; the second-highest total vs Zimbabwe in ODIs. In reply, Zimbabwe could only manage 255 from 43.3 overs. 

#1: 333/6 @ Guwahati 2002

Finally, the best of the all once again came in 2002. This was the match that shall be remembered for Dinesh Mongia’s unbeaten 159 off 147 balls. His and Yuvraj Singh’s 75 off 52 balls helped India register 333/6 in 50 overs. Meanwhile, Harbhajan Singh led the bowling attack with a spell of 4/33 as Zimbabwe could only manage 232 runs.
