Twitter in awe of the fearless batting display by Ishan Kishan after he scored a brilliant double century vs Bangladesh in the 3rd ODI 2022.
‘Fearless’ is the word that comes to our mind as we witness a spectacle from Ishan Kishan in the form of a double century. At such a young age, scoring a century is considered gold, but Ishan Kishan dismissed all those barriers as he became the youngest ever to score a double century in ODIs.
It was a knock full of confidence and intent right from the ball 1. It was also a much-needed moral boosting knock primarily for two reasons. One was to show the world that Indian openers aren’t conservative in their approach, and the second, was to remove the stains that occurred after the loss of the first two ODIs.
Courtesy of the fabulous batting by Ishan Kishan, the GOAT centurion Virat Kohli, and some superb bowling by Indian bowlers, India ended the series on a high – although they would be disappointed to have lost the series and the first two ODIs.
The 3rd ODI saw Team India win by a whopping margin of 227; their third-best victory in terms of runs. At one stage, it looked India would get past 500, but successive wickets restricted India to 410, which is no dud either. Bangladesh, in reply, could only manage 182 runs.
