#1: India Register a Big win vs Hong Kong in Asia Cup 2022.
Team India in their 2nd group stage match vs Hong Kong have registered a big win to qualify for the Super 4 stage of Asia Cup 2022. Batting first, India scored 192 runs in the first innings. Suryakumar Yadav top scored for India with a stunning knock of 68 off 26 balls. In reply, Hong Kong could only manage 152 runs as India won the match by 40 runs.
#2: Shardul Thakur Replaces the Injured Prasidh Krishna in India A Squad
Team India’s leading pacer, Prasidh Krishna has been ruled out of the ongoing Test Series vs New Zealand A on account of Back injury. Shardul Thakur has been added as his replacement in the India A squad.
#3: Rajat Patidar, Tilak Varma, Abhimanyu Easwaran, and Mukesh Kumar shine vs New Zealand A
The India A team had a perfect outing vs New Zealand A in the first unofficial Test match at Bangalore. The Group stage phase for Asia Cup 2022 has ended and 4 teams have qualified for the Super 4 stage. India and Pakistan have qualified from Group A. Whereas Sri Lanka and Afghanistan have qualified from Group B. India would now be facing Pakistan on September 4, Sri Lanka on September 6, and Afghanistan on September 8.
#5: MS Dhoni to Continue as CSK’s Captain in IPL 2023
In the form of a big boost for MS Dhoni and CSK’s fans, the CSK CEO, Kasi Viswanathan has confirmed that MS Dhoni will continue as the captain of the franchise for IPL 2023. This is a big boost for the 4-times IPL champion Chennai Super Kings after their mediocre performance in IPL 2022. To recap, CSK had finished at 9th position in IPL 2022; majorly under the leadership of Ravindra Jadeja.

In yet another shocking scene of events, Team India’s leading all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out of Asia Cup 2022 due to Knee injury. Like-for-like all-rounder, Axar Patel has replaced Ravindra Jadeja in the squad. Jadeja would undergo a surgery, which could take a few weeks to recover.

#8: Team India lose a close counter vs Pakistan in Asia Cup 2022
Pakistan have defeated Team India by 5 wickets in an important Super 4 clash of Asia Cup 2022. Batting first, India made 181 for 7 in 20 overs. Virat Kohli top scored for India with a knock of 60 off 44 balls. In reply, Pakistan chased the target in 19.5 overs. Mohammad Nawaz won the player of the match award. He scored 42 off 20 balls and bowled a brilliant spell of 4/25 in 4 overs.
