WPL 2023: Complete Squad and 87 Players List for All 5 Teams

A total of 87 players sold as we look at the complete squad and players list for all 4 teams post WPL 2023 Auction. 

The first edition of the Women’s Premier League successfully kick-started with WPL 2023 Auction on Monday, February 13. A historic day that would change the fate of Women’s cricket saw 5 teams aggressively bidding to acquire some of the best Women players in the World.

A total of 87 players were purchased in the Auction including 36 overseas players. Except for UP Warriorz and Mumbai Indians, the other 3 teams completely exhausted their quota of 18 players. A total of INR 59.5 Cr was spent 5 franchises in a bid to acquire 87 players.

Smiriti Mandhana remains the highest-bid player with a bid of 3.4 Cr. Apart from Mandhana, 19 more players got a salary of more than 1 Cr. So, with the Auction process now completed, let’s look at the complete final squad and players list for all 5 teams for WPL 2023.    

#1: Delhi Capitals

Delhi Capitals purchased a total of 18 players in the WPL 2023 Auction. The star of India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup 2023 match, Jemimah Rodrigues remains the highest-bid player for Delhi Capitals at 2.2 Cr. #2: Gujarat Giants

Gujarat Titans purchased a total of 18 players in the WPL 2023 Auction. Australia’s Ashleigh Gardner remains the highest-bid player for Gujarat Giants at 3.2 Cr. Mumbai Indians purchased a total of 17 players in the WPL 2023 Auction. Natalie Sciver remains the highest-bid player for Mumbai Indians at 3.2 Cr. UP Warriorz purchased the least players in the WPL 2023 Auction with 16 players in their kitty. Deepti Sharma remains the highest-bid player of WPL 2023 at 3.4 Cr.
