ODI World Cup 2023: All 10 Teams Full List of Left-hand Players

47 players set to play left-handed as we look at the official final list of left-hand players for all 10 teams for ICC ODI World Cup 2023.

Let’s get this straight. Left-handers are rare in Cricket. So much so that some teams have only 10-15% of their players being left-handers. There is no doubt that Left-handers are crucial. With a lot of wrist spinners and left-arm pacers coming up, left-hand batters are the ones who can tackle these bowlers way better than anyone.

Similarly, with a lot of right-handers in each team, the role of left-hand bowlers becomes crucial too. Be it a left-arm swing of someone like Shaheen Afridi or Trent Boult in the first few overs, or someone like Kuldeep Yadav or Mitchell Santner in the middle overs, these players play a crucial role

If we talk about the ODI World Cup 2023, of the 150 players that are playing in the tournament, there are around 37 left-hand batters and 10 left-arm bowlers. But how is the list bifurcated among all 10 teams? Well, let’s look at the complete detailed list of left-handers. Please note, that some players bat right-handed and bowl left-handed, and vice versa. These players are also considered the basis of their main role.
