Revealed: Full Injured Players and Replacement List for IPL 2024

Mohammed Shami, the biggest name as we look at the full final injured and replacement players list for IPL 2024 for all 10 teams.

We are at the halfway stage of IPL 2024, and the tournament has already been an exciting affair so far. Except for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, almost every other team is still in contention for the Playoffs in general. Overall, all teams have played superb cricket so far, but Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders have been a touch apart when it comes to their performance this season.

While we have seen some amazing display of cricket, most of the teams have been hit by injuries and opt-outs this season. Surprisingly, the teams that have not been hit by any injuries or opt-outs have been doing the worst, and the ones that have been hit by injuries, and opt-outs have been doing the best. But what have been the full player injuries and replacements for IPL 2024? Well, let’s find out in this article. 

IPL 2024 Full Injured and Replacement Players List for Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

1. Devon Conway <> Richard Gleeson

Only recently, but CSK announced their first replacement of the season in the form of Richard Gleeson. After waiting for almost 4 weeks before making the announcement, CSK finally replaced injured Devon Conway with pacer Richard Gleeson. Conway has been an integral part of CSK’s lineup, and his absence has definitely affected CSK.

1. Harry Brook <> Lizaad Williams 
2. Lungi Ngidi <> Jake Fraser-Mcgurk
3. Mitchell Marsh <> Y.T.A.

Delhi Capitals are one of the three teams to have lost three players this IPL. While Harry Brook and Lungi Ngidi are confirmed to miss, Mitchell Marsh is the latest addition to the injury list; although it is yet to be announced officially. In place of Harry Brook, Delhi got in Lizaad Williams, and instead of Lungi Ngidi, DC got in Jake-Fraser McGurk.

1. Robin Minz <> BR Sharath
2. Mohammed Shami <> Sandeep Warrier

Gujarat Titans have lost two players due to injury this season in the form of Robin Minz and Mohammed Shami. The loss of Robin Minz was still fine, but the loss of Mohammed Shami has affected GT the most as they lost their bowling spearhead. Overall, in place of Shami, GT got in Sandeep Warrier, and in place of Robin Minz, GT got in BR Sharath. 

IPL 2024 Full Injured and Replacement Players List for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

1. Jason Roy <> Phil Salt
2. Mujeeb Ur Rahman <> Allah Ghazanfar
3. Gus Atkinson <> Dushmantha Chameera

Kolkata Knight Riders got hit by three player news this season, and all three have been in the form of Overseas players. While Jason Roy and Gus Atkinson pulled out of IPL due to personal reasons, Mujeeb Ur Rahman was ruled out due to injury. As for replacements, KKR got in Phil Salt for Jason Roy, Allah Ghazanfar for Mujeeb, and Dushmantha Chameera for Gus Atkinson. 

IPL 2024 Full Injured and Replacement Players List for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG)

1. David Willey <> Matt Henry
2. Mark Wood <> Shamar Joseph

The Lucknow Super Giants were left shocked when Mark Wood, their best pacer decided to opt out of IPL due to personal reasons. And just like that, another Englishman, David Willey also decided to opt out of IPL 2024. Overall, in place of Mark Wood, LSG got in Shamar Joseph, and in place of David Willey, LSG got in Matt Henry.

1. Jason Behrendorff <> Luke Wood
2. Dilshan Madhushanka <> Kwena Maphaka
3. Vishnu Vinod <> Harvik Desai

Another team that has been hit with three player replacements so far, it is the Mumbai Indians. MI lost two Overseas players, Jason Behrendorff and Dilshan Madhushanka, and one Indian player, Vishnu Vinod due to injuries. In their place, MI got in Luke Wood, Kwena Maphaka, and Harvik Desai.

None

Punjab Kings are one of the only two teams so far to have not been hit by any injuries so far. All their players are fit and fine, but the team isn’t doing fine with just 2 wins from 8 games. 

IPL 2024 Full Injured and Replacement Players List for Rajasthan Royals (RR)

1. Prasidh Krishna <> Tanush Kotian
2. Adam Zampa <> Keshav Maharaj

The table toppers, Rajasthan Royals have lost two key players this season in the form of Prasidh Krishna and Adam Zampa. While Krishna was ruled out due to injury, Adam Zampa opted out due to personal reasons. In their place, RR got in Tanush Kotian and Keshav Maharaj respectively.

None

Similar to PBKS, Royal Challengers Bengaluru have not lost a single player due to injury, but their campaign is also very similar to PBKS with just 1 win from 8 games. 

IPL 2024 Full Injured and Replacement Players List for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)

1. Wanindu Hasaranga <> Vijaykanth Viyaskanth

Sunrisers Hyderabad have lost only one player so far due to injury, and that’s Wanindu Hasaranga. In place of Hasaranga, SRH got in Vijaykanth Viyaskanth, who also hails from Sri Lanka.
