IPL 2024: RR vs RCB Match 19 Ideal Playing 11 for Both Teams

Clash of the royals as we look at the ideal playing 11 and fantasy lineup for IPL 2024 RR vs RCB Match 19.

It’s match 19 of the TATA IPL 2024, and we have the clash of the Royals as the Royal Challengers Bengaluru take on the Rajasthan Royals at Jaipur. Both teams are coming into this game with contrasting fortunes so far. While Rajasthan Royals are flying high with three wins from three games, Royal Challengers Bengaluru are doing almost the opposite with three losses from four games.

While this is only round 5 for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and they still have nine more matches after this, they need a win to boost their campaign. I am sure RCB won’t like to keep things for the back half of the tournament as they always do. If RCB don’t win tomorrow, calculators may already be out for the fans, and like always, the Ee sala Cup Namde trend will continue for yet another year.

For Rajasthan Royals, things look pretty optimistic. They have won three out of three games with hardly any contribution from two of their best players, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler. These are superb positive signs for RR, who are seeing some really good performance from their middle-order and bowlers. But RR would want their premier duo to come back to form, and lead the bating.

Match and Pitch Details:

Tournament: IPL 2024

Type: Match 19 – RR vs RCB

Where: Jaipur

When: April 06, 2024 // 7:30 pm IST

This is the third encounter at Jaipur stadium, and so far we have only seen high-scoring pitches with all four innings being above 170+. With the pitch expected to be batting-friendly once again, one should put a heavy top-order in their fantasy 11. But what team combination will both teams adopt? Well, let’s look at the ideal playing 11 and dream fantasy lineup for IPL 2024 RR vs RCB match 19.

Rajasthan Royals Best Playing 11 vs RCB

Rajasthan Royals were without Sandeep Sharma in the last game. The bowler missed the match due to injury, and in his place, RR played Nandre Burger as the first-choice bowler, and Shubham Dubey as the impact player. The move worked pretty well for the Royals, and it seems, they could continue with the same combination vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru Ideal Playing 11 vs RR

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru are struggling big time in all departments – be it batting or bowling. While bowling has been terrible with no standout bowler so far, the batting has seen only Virat Kohli doing the bulk of the scoring. While players’ form is one of the reasons, the main reason has been the role clarity. Except for openers, RCB have changed their batting-order in every match. This can create a lot of confusion in the batters’ minds, and it reflects in the performance.

If at all, RCB are looking to win this championship, they should play with a settled batting-order for now. The team is already down on confidence, so expecting every player to perform in all positions is simply unrealistic. Hopefully, Green plays at 3, Rajat Patidar at 4, and Glenn Maxwell at 5. This is a far more settled combination with every player adopting it as the tournament moves on.
