Lucknow Super Giants Best Playing 11 vs PBKS 

Lucknow Super Giants’s captain, KL Rahul surprised everyone as he opened the batting after long talks of him batting in the middle-order. The move has always been debatable because KL Rahul has his own way of playing, and even as LSG needed to chase 200+ in the last match, KL Rahul was going at a strike rate of 120. It backfired big time as LSG lost an important match against RR. 

So, will KL Rahul continue to bat as an opener? Well, with his game style, and aspirations to play for the Indian team, he should for once think about the team, and play at the number 4 position. Unless he does that, LSG will always find it difficult to win high-scoring matches. Nevertheless, it looks unlikely KL Rahul will move down the order. Moreover, expect LSG to stick to the same playing 11.

Another thing that was a surprise with LSG was the batting depth, and lack of a sixth quality bowler. LSG played Ayush Badoni as the impact player instead of a bowler, which could have given them a sixth bowling option. While Badoni’s part-time can still play a part, LSG will be better off if they play a pure bowler instead of Badoni or Deepak Hooda.

Punjab Kings Best Playing 11 vs LSG

Punjab Kings have played with a settled team combination so far with the only change in their playing 11 being their batting-order. The team played Sam Curran at number 4 in the first match, but moved him to number 6 position in the second match. The flexibility allows them to play their players according to the situation. So, expect PBKS to stick to the same playing 11 combination vs LSG.

However, when it comes to their players, they need to see consistency in their form and performance. Bairstow has hardly contributed with the bat.
