IPL 2024: All 10 Teams Official Final Wicket keeper List

A total of 32 names in focus as we look at the official and final list of wicket keeper for all 10 teams ahead of IPL 2024.

If there is one category of players where teams do not focus a lot, it is the wicket-keepers. Take any team for example, the preference is always given to wicket-keepers who can bat. Even if the wicket-keeper is a part-timeone, it may not matter to the team much as long as he can bat well.

The 2024 season will see a total of 32 wicket-keepers playing a part in the tournament. While Delhi Capitals pack the punch with the maximum number of wicket-keepers, 6, Mumbai Indians, KKR, and RCB have the least number of wicket-keepers, 2. The fact that two famous teams invest so little in wicket-keepers shows that teams don’t care about them much.

Nevertheless, the 2024 season will witness some really quality wicket-keepers with Indians being 19 and Overseas being 13. So, with the official list in front of us, let’s look at the final wicket keeper list for all 10 teams for IPL 2024.

IPL 2024 Wicket keeper List for Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

Avanish Aravelly, Devon Conway (o) & MS Dhoni

Starting with the Chennai Super Kings, they have a total of 3 wicket-keepers in their side for IPL 2024. Of the three wicket-keepers, MS Dhoni and Devon Conway are the senior ones who will play a crucial part in IPL 2024. Whereas Avanish Aravelly will be the backup keeper in the side. 

IPL 2024 Wicket keeper List for Delhi Capitals (DC)

Abhishek Porel, Kumar Khushagra, Ricky Bhui, Rishabh Pant, Shai Hope (o) & Tristan Stubbs (o)

Delhi Capitals have the most number of wicket-keepers in IPL 2024. They have a total of 6 names in the side with 2 being Overseas keepers. Of the six keepers, Rishabh Pant and Kumar Khushagra will play a key role in IPL 2024. Whereas the other four, Abhishek Porel, Ricky Bhui, Shai Hope, and Tristan Stubss will act as key backups. 

IPL 2024 Wicket keeper List for Gujarat Titans (GT)

Matthew Wade (o), Robin Minz & Wriddhiman Saha 

For Gujarat Titans, there are only three wicket-keepers in the side in the form of Matthew Wade, Robiz Minz, and Wriddhiman Saha.  Of the three, Saha will begin as the first-choice keeper for GT. If Saha doesn’t do well, the team will then move to Robin Minz or Matthew Wade depending on the combination. 

IPL 2024 Wicket keeper List for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

KS Bharat & Rahmanullah Gurbaz (o)

For Kolkata Knight Riders, there are only two wicket-keepers in the side, and those are KS Bharat and Rahmanullah Gurbaz. With only these two there, one of these two will definitely feature in the playing 11. The selection of these two will completely depend on the combination KKR adopt. 

IPL 2024 Wicket keeper List for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG)

KL Rahul, Nicholas Pooran (o) & Quinton de Kock (o)

For Lucknow Super Giants, there are three wicket-keepers in the side for IPL 2024. They are the only team that is going to play all their wicket-keepers in their first-choice playing 11. While Quinton de Kock will play as an opener, KL Rahul and Nicholas Pooran will play in the middle-order. 

IPL 2024 Wicket keeper List for Mumbai Indians (MI)

Ishan Kishan & Vishnu Vinod

Coming to Mumbai Indians, there are only two wicket-keepers in the side for IPL 2024. While Ishan Kishan is the primary wicket-keeper, Vishnu Vinod is a backup wicket-keeper. 

IPL 2024 Wicket keepers for Punjab Kings (PBKS)

Jitesh Sharma, Jonny Bairstow (o) & Prabsimran Singh

Punjab Kings have three wicket-keepers in their side for IPL 2024. While Jitesh Sharma and Jonny Bairstow are two key wicket-keepers in the side, Prabsimran Singh will play the key role of a backup wicket-keeper. 

IPL 2024 Wicket keeper List for Rajasthan Royals (RR)

Dhruv Jurel, Donavon Ferreira (o), Jos Buttler (o), Sanju Samson (c) & Tom Kohler-Cadmore (o)

For Rajasthan Royals, there are five wicket-keepers in the side for IPL 2024. Of the five keepers, Dhruv Jurel, Jos Buttler, and Sanju Samson will most-likely feature in the first-choice playing 11. Whereas Donavon Ferreira and Tom Kohler-cadmore will act as key backups for RR.

IPL 2024 Wicket keeper List for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)

Anuj Rawat & Dinesh Karthik

Coming to Royal Challengers Bangalore, there are only two wicket-keepers in the side for IPL 2024. While Dinesh Karthik will play the role of primary wicket-keeper, Anuj Rawat will act as a key backup keeper.

IPL 2024 Wicket keepers for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)

Glenn Phillips (o), Heinrich Klaasen (o), Upendra Yadav

Sunrisers Hyderabad have three wicket-keepers in their side for IPL 2024. Of the three keepers, Heinrich Klaasen will be the most important player for them. While Glenn Phillips is a make-shift wicket-keeper, Upendra Yadav will act as a key backup keeper for them.
