One important player that Mumbai Indians have been missing is Suryakumar Yadav. SKY is currently recovering from injury at the NCA, and has already missed two matches so far. Also, given the current situation, expect Surya to miss a few more matches in this IPL. In his absence, MI will continue to persist with Naman Dhir, who has been decent so far.

Overall, if Mumbai Indians bat first, expect them to play only three overseas players in the form of Tim David, Gerald Coetzee, and Kwena Maphaka. They can bring in one from Dewald Brevis or Romario Shephard depending on the match situation. For Rajasthan Royals, the only question is who among Rovman Powell or Nandre Burger plays in the playing 11. If Rajasthan Royals bat first, they can wait as they did in the first two matches, and then can play any two. However, if RR field first, expect RR to stick to Rovman Powell with an additional Indian bowler, and then get in a batter as an impact substitute in the second innings.

Overall, all eyes will be on the form of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler. Both have been struggling for form so far, and have not made any good contribution. But both are talented players, and they won’t get a better opportunity than the Wankhede to get back to form.
