Royal Challengers Bengaluru Best Playing 11 vs PBKS

Royal Challengers Bengaluru weren’t at their usual best in their first match vs CSK. The team did well in the batting as expected, but it was their bowling that was the reason for their defeat. RCB managed to score 173 from 20 overs, courtesy of cameos from their players, but in the bowling, RCB couldn’t defend well as CSK won the match in just 18.4 overs.

Except for Mayank Dagar, not a single bowler looked threatening for RCB. However, even as RCB suffered a major defeat, it looks unlikely RCB will make major changes in their playing 11. The only change that they may think of doing is playing Vyshak Vijaykumar for Karn Sharma or Mayank Dgar. The Bengaluru pitch doesn’t help spinners a lot, so it makes sense to play an extra pacer.

With RCB playing at their home ground, all eyes will be on Virat Kohli, who has seldom disappointed in his hometown. More so, after Virat Kohli’s below-par returns in the first match, fans will be expecting Virat Kohli to get back to form. Similarly, for RCB, the team will be hoping for good returns from their captain, Faf du Plessis, and Rajat Patidar, who registered a duck in the first innings.

Punjab Kings Best Playing 11 vs RCB

Punjab Kings had a very interesting batting-order in the first match. The team played Sam Curran at number 4 position, and pushed Liam Livingstone to number 6 position. It did help PBKS as they won the match in the last over, but is sending Liam Livingstone at 6 the right move? Well, the move can be debatable, but for now, expect PBKS to stick to the same batting lineup.

Given the pitch of Bengaluru will see a lot of runs, all eyes will be on the batters of PBKS. The team will need Jonny Bairstow, Shikhar Dhawan, and others to up their batting performance. To win in Bengaluru, PBKS would need a strong batting foundation. They do have a strong bowling lineup, and thus as long as their batting does well, it should be fine for PBKS.
