Rajasthan Royals are one of the only few teams to have a settled top-order in their playing 11. The team will see Yashasvi Jaiswal, Jos Buttler, and Sanju Samson as their best top-order, and without a doubt, this is one of the best top-order in the competition. With a settled top-order, RR will see Dhruv Jurel at number 4 position in place of Devdutt Padikkal, who was traded to Lucknow Super Giants.

Coming to the finishers, RR have three solid names in the form of Shimron Hetmyer, Rovman Powell, and Riyan Parag. The addition of Powell does give RR solid depth in the batting, unlike last year when they had Jason Holder. However, RR would be hoping for Riyan Parag to continue his golden domestic form. In addition, RR also have Ravichandran Ashwin to add useful lower-orde runs. 

Finally talking about the bowling lineup for Rajasthan Royals, it looks slightly below-par. The bowling will be highly dependent on Trent Boult and Yuzvendra Chahal as the likes of Avesh Khan, Sandeep Sharma, and Ravichandran Ashwin himself aren’t the most reliable options. Similarly, RR don’t have another reliable option for the sixth bowler with options in Powell and Parag.

Lucknow Super Giants Best Playing 11 vs RR 

The Lucknow Super Giants will see their captain, KL Rahul playing the role of a middle-order batter in IPL 2024. The move comes amid KL Rahul’s aspirations to play for Team India in the 2024 T20 World Cup. There is also a high possibility we see KL Rahul donning the wicket-keeping duties. So, with KL Rahul at number 4, we should see Devudtt Padikkal and Quinton de Kock as the openers.

Coming to the middle-order, LSG have extreme firepower with Deepak Hooda at number 3, Captain KL Rahul at number 4, and Nicholas Pooran at number 5. This is as good a batting lineup as one would want. Finally, to support the top 5, LSG once again have two solid options in the form of Marcus Stoinis and Krunal Pandya. With such a solid batting lineup, LSG can afford to play an extra bowler to strengthen their bowling, which is their weakness.

Finally, for the bowling lineup,  LSG have Ravi Bishnoi as their best bowler in the absence of Mark Wood. To support Bishnoi, LSG will have Shamar Joseph, Mohsin Khan, Yash Thakur, and Shivam Mavi in the pace department.
