India vs West Indies 2023: Download Final Tour Series Schedule

Team India to play 2 Tests, 3 ODIs, and 5 T20Is vs West Indies in 2023 as we look at the complete official schedule for the tour series.

After a disappointing end to the World Test Championship 2021-23 as India lost their second successive final, India would now be gearing up to kick-start their next cycle with the West Indies tour. Team India shall observe a 1-month gap, and then begin a month-long West Indies tour from July 12 to August 13.  

The tour shall begin with a 2-match Test series as a part of the third edition of the World Test Championship Cycle 2023-25. The 3-match ODI series will follow the Test series, and will mark the preparation for the ODI World Cup. Finally, the Indian team will move to play the 5-match T20 Series. 

The 2-match Test series shall feature from July 12 to July 24 with the first Test being played from July 12-16 at Windsor Park, Dominica. Whereas the second Test shall feature from July 20-24 at Queen’s Park Oval, Trinidad. Both Tests shall be a part of WTC 2023-25. So, here’s the complete schedule for India vs West Indies 2023 Test series. 

India vs West Indies 2023 Official Test Series Schedule:

• 1st Test – July 12-16 @ Dominica, 7:30 pm IST onwards
• 2nd Test – July 20-24 @ Trinidad, 7:30 pm IST onwards

The Test series shall be followed by the 3-match ODI Series. The ODI series begins on July 27, and will conclude on August 01. The first and second ODI shall feature at Kensington Oval, Barbados on July 27 and July 29 respectively. Whereas India will move to Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad to play the third ODI on August 01. So, here’s the complete ODI series schedule. 

India vs West Indies 2023 Official ODI Series Schedule:

• 1st ODI – July 27 @ Barbados, 7 pm IST
• 2nd ODI – July 29 @ Barbados, 7 pm IST
• 3rd ODI – August 1 @ Trinidad, 7 pm IST

The 5-match T20I series begins on August 03, and will conclude on August 13 in the USA. The first three T20Is shall feature in West Indies on August 03, 06, and 08 respectively. Whereas the last two T20Is shall feature in Florida, USA on August 12 and 13 respectively. The T20I matches shall begin at 8 PM IST. So, here’s the complete T20I series schedule.

• 1st T20I –  August 03 @ Trinidad, 8 pm IST
• 2nd T20I – August 06 @ Guyana, 8 pm IST
• 3rd T20I – August 08 @ Guyana, 8 pm IST
• 4th T20I – August 12 @ Florida, 8 pm IST
• 5th T20I – August 13 @ Florida, 8 pm IST

The tour shall act as a great platform for India to improvise in all forms of cricket. The Test series is important as it is a part of WTC Cycle 2023-25. The ODI series will act as a good preparation ground for ODI World Cup 2023. Whereas the T20I series will most-likely see senior players being rested, and Hardik Pandya shall lead a young Indian squad. 

Meanwhile, it is understood that BCCI shall award the consistent performers of IPL 2023. So, don’t be surprised if the likes of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rinku Singh, Tilak Varma, and Jitesh Sharma make it to the Indian T20I team at the least.
