A total of 39 players in focus as we look at the official best openers list for all 10 teams for IPL 2024 ahead of the tournament.
120 balls is what each team gets during a T20 match. With 11 players in the side, needless to say, openers are the ones that face most of the deliveries. Hence, the openers are one of the most important players for any team. Fortunately, the IPL Auction and players’ retentions help each team get at least 2 to 3 good openers.
With the official data in front of us, let’s in this article take a look at the complete list of openers for each team. While categorizing the players, we will consider two solid openers who will only play as an opener for their respective teams. Of course, there are a few players who might play dual roles, but since they are backups, we are still considering them in the openers category.

Delhi Capitals – DC Openers List for IPL 2024
