IPL 2024 Squad List and All 10 Teams New Players Details

Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins, the standout as we look at the complete official IPL 2024 Squad list and Players details for all 10 teams after Auction. 

The IPL 2024 Mini Auction comes to a successful conclusion as a total of 72 players get their names registered under the 10 franchises. Kolkata Knight Riders did the most of the shopping of 10 players including the most expensive player in the history of IPL, Mithcell Starc. Whereas Rajasthan Royals purchased the least number of players at 5. 

Overall, Teams spent INR 230.45 Cr to purchase a total of 72 players; that’s roughly 3.2 Cr per person. Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, and Daryl Mitchell remain the most expensive players at 24.75 Cr, 20.5 Cr, and 14 Cr respectively. While teams spent a really solid amount to buy a few marquee players, not all teams have fully booked their quota of 25 players.

Of the 10 franchises, only KKR and RR did not complete their quota of 25 players as they are with 23 and 22 players respectively. Thankfully, all 10 teams have 8 overseas players each. So, that’s about the official IPL 2024 squad list and players details for all 10 teams post the Auction. Overall, SRH, CSK, and MI have done a really great job in the Auction to assemble a solid squad. Whereas RCB and GT felt the worst performers for not having solid names by their side even after having a great Auction purse. Other than these five, the other five teams did a fairly decent job at the Auction.
